“The Green Wood” , 12”w x 9”h, watercolor on Arches cold press, matted
When my two boys were younger, they used to play in the woods on the other side of the old stone wall that ran parallel to our yard. They called it the Green Wood. It was where the younger saplings had grown into a thicket of thin trees clustered together after loggers had cleared the land years before. My boys have grown up now, and this summer, the Green Wood was cut down. The loggers returned, and the Green Wood is a muddy track where fallen trees have been dragged out of the forest.
Available as a 12×9 original watercolor. Single matted.
