“Scott’s Place” , 12”w x 6.75”h, original watercolor on Arches cold press, matted
They had started tearing down Scott’s place on Main Street in my hometown of Candia, a scene I had always intended to paint because of its isolated white house and big maples out front. Now there was an orange dump truck backed up to the door and the place was gutted down to the studs. I could see through the openings in the house’s frame to the green brightness of the trees beyond, and thought about the people who had once lived here.
Available as a 12×6.75 original watercolor. Single matted.
