Challenge
Akamai provides security for the world’s largest global network and delivers media on that network for clients like NBC, Adidas, and IHG. They needed a visual strategy that illustrated their solutions conceptually and consistently. For too long they had relied on abstract imagery that didn’t convey any meaning or narrative about what they actually offered.
Solution
After presenting three distinct concepts, our chosen direction focused on using animals as the digital manifestation of their solutions: Web Performance, Media Delivery, and Cloud Security. Each solution featured an animal who possessed a key quality of their services.
